The fastest connection between Poland and Italy is born. Thanks to a new service offered by Pol-Rail, Poland is just 34 hours away from Italy! This is made possible by sending bloc trains all the way to the Cervignano and Lugo terminals from the shunting station of Wroclaw Brochow via the Czech Republic and Austria.   Wagons do not require any manoeuvring and, consequently, guarantee greater transport reliability and safety. Frequency can be adapted to market requirements; initially, the service is being offered on a 3-departures a week basis, which can be extended to as often as one departure a day, allowing adequate planning of shipping and arrivals at destination. One of the main peculiarities of the project is the possibility of extending the service to and from Scandinavia, through the maritime transit point of Swinoujscie, and to the former Soviet Republics, through the land transit of Malaszewicze. Adequate, planned time schedules guarantee that even these links generate a reliable and absolutely competitive economic return.
